Internationally known Mariachi Luz de Luna found its roots in the early 1990s in Tucson, AZ. under the leadership of Director Ruben Moreno. He has assembled a cast of experienced mariachi personalities that give Luz de Luna it’s unique style. This style has led to musical collaborations with Indie-Rock group Calexico, The Ronstadt Generations, Kate Becker & Friends, and others. Recording collaborations with Indie Rock group, Calexico, their music appeared in the Netflix series Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul. More recently Mariachi Luz de Luna has opened for Commedian’s Carlos Mencia and George Lopez. They have also done recordings and appearances throughout Europe, Canada and the US.
